The co-founders of TWIST Creative, Inc., Connie and Mike Ozan, have announced that Chris Oldham, Vice President of Creative Services, has been named a partner at the full-service advertising agency located in Tremont. Oldham, who joined TWIST in 2004, has played an instrumental role in the agency’s continued growth and success.
“Since he joined the TWIST team, Chris has demonstrated an unparalleled passion and commitment to excellence, not only to TWIST, but more importantly to its clients,” said Mike Ozan, CEO of TWIST.
Ozan and his wife Connie founded TWIST in Ohio City in 1999. They attribute the longevity of the agency to its unwavering commitment to the community and the excellent and effective work it produces. Today, the company famous for its award-winning work for organizations like the Cleveland International Film Festival, The Cleveland Indians and Ohio City is excited to be lending their expertise and expanded service portfolio to national and regional campaigns for global consumer goods and industrial goods clients while still taking a leadership role in creating strategies intended to disrupt local instances of generational poverty.
Connie Ozan credits Oldham with not only bringing TWIST up to a level of creative excellence but operational excellence as well. “In addition to his role as Vice President of Creative
Services, Chris has established operational standards and processes that have proven beneficial to both us and our clients,” said Connie Ozan. “Now, not only is our output of great quality but so is how our company is run. We’re able to deliver in a way similar to an agency ten times our size,” she added.
Oldham joined TWIST in 2004 as an Art Director but had known the Ozans for years through various design and marketing associations.
“We employ a high attention to detail along with smart and beautifully executed work that has made a big difference to our clients,” he said.
Oldham believes that TWIST offers a solution that Cleveland companies really want in an agency. “Clients want strategies that cut through the clutter, that can stand out a bit, break through and that don’t waste people’s time. We do that, but we also challenge clients to see beyond what they think is appropriate – what’s going to really solve their problem. We open their eyes by looking at it from a different angle,” said Oldham.
What does the future hold for TWIST? Mike Ozan noted that the future for TWIST is to continue to deliver the most outstanding work product that is desired and needed by clients who want an agency that is relevant and contributes to their culture and corporation.
“We’re making a big effort to evolve,” said Mike Ozan. “We must point and adjust our agency to match the way our clients want to buy. We have innovated our model around that idea and it is working like crazy.” he added.
Oldham holds a Bachelor in Visual Communication Design Degree from Kent State University. He resides in Bay Village with his wife and two children. A kayak enthusiast, Oldham participates in the Holiday Lakes Boat Parade every year in Norwalk, Ohio.
