Junior Graphic Designer

We are seeking an ambitious and versatile Jr. Designer to support our creative team. The ideal candidate is passionate about the art and detail of design, gets brand strategy and storytelling, and thrives in a collaborative environment. You will have high standards for both aesthetic quality and the impact/outcomes of your work.

Requirements:

  • A ridiculous work ethic and a hunger to do your best work.
  • Some experience designing for clients in multiple verticals.
  • Some exposure in building fully integrated campaigns.
  • Be able to illustrate, have a love of type, photography and color and be able to deliver on our award-winning reputation and uniquely sensible and stunning aesthetic.
  • Ability to collaborate and follow direction
  • Previous exposure to working with tight and often unreasonable deadlines and budgets (you know, agency stuff.)
  • Be a total design snob without ever being a real snob.
  • BFA preferred

Experience:
At least 1 year of experience (preferably in an agency setting.)

Account Executive

The Account Executive (AE) works with the agency’s Managing Director and Senior Account Executive in coordinating and directing all agency initiatives for clients and is responsible for the execution of all assigned work.

The AE has two areas of responsibility as assigned on specific projects and programs:

  • Planning and execution of assigned client projects and needs. This will include developing project plans and schedules, proofreading, project management of internal teams and reviewing all materials relevant to client needs.
  • Coordinating and management of the needs of assigned projects. This will include handling of work requests in a timely manner, monitoring budget and research, maintaining communication (which will include creating conference and status reports) both internal and external in a positive, timely and efficient manner.

Skills:

The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Organization and planning – ability to establish priorities and objectives. Sets up project plans, handles workflow of assigned projects to ensure that all client work is completed on time and under budget.
  • Decision-making – ability to use judgment in coming to the solution of a problem. Making realistic commitments with clients and internal team. Provides sound solutions for any issues with scheduling. Balances the needs of the client with the agency needs on assigned projects.
  • Initiative – ability to work independently and develop solutions to problems without the aid of others. Takes assignments readily, motivates self and gives extra effort to the job as needed. Anticipates problems before they arise.
  • Flexibility – ability to manage stress and pressure in working through assigned tasks. Changes course of action when appropriate. Maintaining constructive project goal direction during time constraints.
  • Communication Skills – ability to deliver clear, concise and accurate messages, listening carefully to others. Organizes thoughts in a clear and concise manner. Creative thinker and writer. 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Marketing or Advertising
  • 2-4 years of experience (preferably at an agency)

Graphic Design Intern

We are always on the lookout for graphic design interns. We offer a comprehensive apprenticeship approach. At TWIST design interns are part of real work for real clients. Please include a link to your portfolio to be considered. Paid internships are offered to students entering their senior year at an accredited design program. TWIST internships are offered year round. Summer interns are encouraged to apply in March.
