Account Executive

The Account Executive (AE) works with the agency’s Managing Director and Senior Account Executive in coordinating and directing all agency initiatives for clients and is responsible for the execution of all assigned work.

The AE has two areas of responsibility as assigned on specific projects and programs:

  • Planning and execution of assigned client projects and needs. This will include developing project plans and schedules, proofreading, project management of internal teams and reviewing all materials relevant to client needs.
  • Coordinating and management of the needs of assigned projects. This will include handling of work requests in a timely manner, monitoring budget and research, maintaining communication (which will include creating conference and status reports) both internal and external in a positive, timely and efficient manner.

Skills:

The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Organization and planning – ability to establish priorities and objectives. Sets up project plans, handles workflow of assigned projects to ensure that all client work is completed on time and under budget.
  • Decision-making – ability to use judgment in coming to the solution of a problem. Making realistic commitments with clients and internal team. Provides sound solutions for any issues with scheduling. Balances the needs of the client with the agency needs on assigned projects.

Graphic Design Intern

We are always on the lookout for graphic design interns. We offer a comprehensive apprenticeship approach. At TWIST design interns are part of real work for real clients. Please include a link to your portfolio to be considered. Paid internships are offered to students entering their senior year at an accredited design program. TWIST internships are offered year round. Summer interns are encouraged to apply in March.

Senior Account Executive

Summary of Position
The Senior Account Executive (SAE) reports directly to and works closely with the Managing Director to manage the Account Team in planning and executing client campaigns and agency initiatives, as well as assistance with business development, industry networking and securing new business. The SAE understands the agency portfolio of offerings and how to apply them to solve client business problems. He/she is responsible for a number of client accounts, the day-to-day management, coordination and execution of creative from concept to delivery, ensuring the work is innovative, on strategy, within scope, and delivering on clients’ business objectives. The SAE role will focus on developing deep, meaningful relationships with clients and colleagues that enable TWIST to deliver against specific targets, while delivering exceptional marketing solutions and the highest level of client service.

Responsibilities
Planning, coordination and execution of assigned client projects and needs, such as brand strategies, advertising campaigns, social programs, digital and print creative. This will include developing of project plans and schedules, proofreading, project management of internal teams and reviewing all materials relevant to client needs.

Coordinating and management of the needs of assigned projects. This will include handling of work requests in a timely manner, monitoring budgets and outside vendor costs, research, maintaining communication (will include creating and maintaining conference and status reports) both internal and external in a positive, timely and efficient manner.

Project scope definition, schedules, creative briefs, change management and documentation. This will include the ability to write accurate scopes by asking detailed questions of clients to gain clarity around deliverables and needs.

Will act as the liaison between client and agency, being able to adequately represent client interests to team, as well as keep client informed on project status to ensure on-time, on-budget and error free delivery of projects.

Assist with new business efforts, including growth of existing accounts as well as creation of new client accounts.

Forge strong relationships with team members in all departments as well as agency network partners.

Knows when and how to escalate potential problems.

Mentor and manage junior staff on account service fundamentals, agency processes, client standards, etc.

Finance Manager

Twist is currently seeking a Finance Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background, be a personable, highly-organized, forward-thinking, and motivated individual. Experience working in an agency environment is a plus but not a requirement.

The Finance Manager will report directly to the Director of Operations and will handle day-to-day accounting needs, as well as guide and advise the Executive Team in financial aspects surrounding planning, client contracts, cash flow management, among other areas. Key responsibilities are the following (experience in all these areas is required).

Responsibilities:

  • Full-service bookkeeping
  • Enter vendor invoices and pay vendor bills
  • Cash flow management
  • Process and record payroll
  • Reconcile bank and credit card statements
  • Month-end closing and preparation of financial statements
  • CAT Tax, Sales Tax and BWC reporting
  • Maintain workpapers surrounding depreciation and loans
  • Project revenue and expense accounting
  • Research local, state and federal tax regulations and correspondence
  • Analyze and prepare annual budgets, and project and service line profitability
  • Provide financial input into vendor and client contracts
  • Work with external legal team and tax preparation firm as needed on special projects
  • Additional projects, analysis and research driven by business needs

Knowledge and Skills Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • Experience working in an agency environment is a plus
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in all aspects of accounting including knowledge of accounting principles
  • Payroll processing experience is a must
  • Sales Tax, CAT, and BWC experience is a must
  • Experience accounting for an S-corp is a plus
