
Overview
Pierstorf College Fund exists for one reason: to provide zero-interest college loans to Lutheran students in Ohio. However, despite decades of faithful service, the fund faced a growing disconnect—low awareness and outdated messaging meant too few students and families even knew the opportunity existed.
TWIST partnered with the organization to remove that barrier, beginning with a renaming initiative to clarify its purpose and audience—rebranding the Pierstorf Memorial Fund as the Pierstorf College Fund. Next, TWIST launched a fully integrated campaign to help more students, parents, pastors, and educators recognize its value and take action.
Goal
Increase awareness and clarify messaging with a clearer organizational name, a stronger message, and a unified strategy rooted in both faith and function.

Solution
TWIST led a full brand transformation designed to eliminate confusion, elevate awareness, and unlock impact. The first step was renaming the organization from “Pierstorf Memorial Fund” to “Pierstorf College Fund,” immediately clarifying its audience and purpose. Additionally, TWIST developed a comprehensive messaging strategy tailored to students, parents, pastors, and educators—each grounded in the belief that helping others is a blessing and that this fund is more than financial aid; it’s a ministry of opportunity.
The campaign delivered a new visual identity and brand voice grounded in warmth, humility, and faith. We launched a digital-first campaign with paid and organic social media, new enrollment-focused landing pages, and church outreach kits that included print-ready bulletin content, QR codes, and retractable banners. Through storytelling, alumni features, and targeted media placements, we brought the fund’s impact to life—and made it easier than ever for students and families to say yes to college.
