
Overview
Harvest for Hunger is one of the largest annual food and fund drives in the country, uniting four regional food banks across Northeast Ohio to serve hundreds of hunger-relief agencies. Despite being well-known in the community, the campaign needed new energy, fresh messaging, and tailored communications to improve donor engagement across individual, corporate, and institutional audiences.
Goal
Increase awareness and donations through targeted messaging and strategic outreach that motivates individuals, workplaces, grocery shoppers, and school partners.
Solution
TWIST conducted a multi-audience discovery process to identify motivations, barriers, and emotional triggers for each type of donor to craft a campaign strategy rooted in simplicity and immediacy—centered around a clear call-to-action: Together, We Can Help.
To develop distinct message paths for individuals, businesses, and schools, TWIST produced a full campaign toolkit to be used across in-store activations, social media, earned media, and traditional advertising. The campaign focused on the tangible impact of each donation and humanizing hunger relief through real faces and stories. Creative assets for co-branded grocery store promotions and media partner rollouts were designed to ensure consistency and cohesion across all touchpoints.
