Overview

For more than a decade, TWIST served as a strategic and creative partner to Cuyahoga Community College. Together, we developed enrollment, workforce and institutional campaigns that made Tri-C’s value more relevant to prospective students, working adults, employers and donors.

The work evolved across audiences and initiatives, but the objective remained consistent: connect education to opportunity and turn the College’s mission into marketing that moved people to act.

Goal

Strengthen Tri-C’s position as an accessible pathway to better careers by creating campaigns that could build awareness, inspire prospective students and convert interest into enrollment.

Solution

Rather than leading with institutional language, the campaign celebrated what happened when students made the leap. Each story connected a student’s starting point to the education they received and the opportunity that followed. The visual system combined energetic portraits, personal details and candid language to make every outcome distinctive while building a recognizable campaign platform.

The campaign positioned Tri-C as more than a place to earn a credential. It presented the College as a catalyst for career transformation and a direct connection between motivated people and the organizations ready to hire them.

By aligning emotional motivation with practical outcomes, Job for Joy helped Tri-C build awareness, strengthen consideration and demonstrate the value of education through the people whose lives and careers had changed.

Connecting Education to Opportunity.

Tri-C’s impact extended beyond the students pictured in the campaign. More than 1,000 local employers hired or trained workers through the College in 2012 alone.

TWIST brought that connection forward, positioning Tri-C as an essential link between Northeast Ohio’s workforce and the organizations that depend on skilled, prepared talent.
