Charlene Coughlin, TWIST Managing Director, has been involved with the Adweek Executive Mentor Program the past six months. Selected by the Adweek team the Mentor Program pairs rising executives with current executives, with the goal of increasing leadership in the marketing and advertising community, building a supportive community and highlighting issues that we all have the opportunity to help change.
As part of the program, Charlene co-led a group focused on Women’s Leadership and Empowerment. She, along with others in the community, prepared a strategic and tactical approach for how Adweek can continue to help women rise, overcome workplace issues and empower one another along the way. As part of this year’s (virtual) Brandweek, Charlene and her colleagues in the program will be presenting to all attendees, bringing to light the challenges, but also opportunities that each individual, brand and company can take back and consider.
